- 27 May 09: The fine folks at Hackmii have released the Hackmii Installer 0.2 which will install the Homebrew Channel 1.0.3, DVDX, and BootMii beta 2 on any version of the Wii System Menu.
- 13 May 09: The fine folks at Hackmii have released the Hackmii Installer 0.1 which will install the Homebrew Channel 1.0.2, DVDX, and BootMii beta 1 on any version of the Wii System Menu.
- 9 May 09: comex has released his exploit, dubbed Bannerbomb. This exploit allows users to run homebrew on System Menu 4.0 and all previous versions.
