Hi, right now I'm looking to translate the text in Spanish, Italian, and Dutch. I know I'm missing Japanese but I'm trying to handle more characters for future release.

The part to translate is the '''to''' in the '''translation''' tag and the '''text''' in the '''message''' tag. The could be in UTF-8, maybe not all characters will be shown in the current version (chars like é, è, ê will be replaced by e), but it should be supported in the future.
