It now officially supports the Wii along with a couple of extra features/fixes; check the thread.
Title Logo
I've made a title.bmp for Snake which I'd like to share:
The art is my own original work. The controller graphic, which I made Public Domain some time ago, can be found here: http://openclipart.org/SOMbanners/files/BHSPitMonkey/3720
(Note that you will need to convert this to 24bpp BMP before use.)

...therefore, I can't reach a copy of FCE Ultra. Anyone have a copy of the unofficial front-loading version w/Wii Remote support that they are willing to put up on RapidShare or something? -Yaanu 11:34, 31 May 2008 (PDT)
ROM loading issue with Suloku's release
When I go to load ROMs from the Wii SD, I get this error message:
Opendir(/fceu/roms) failed with -64
Then, after moving on:
Error reading /fceu/roms
Then, after pressing A once more, all the colors freak out. Everything goes back to normal after pressing the Home button, though.
The path on the SD is this:
(root): apps/fceu/roms
In /fceu I have boot.elf, fceu_wii.dol, icon.png, and meta.xml.
Aside from that, I still have an "nesroms" folder in the root from a different emulator.
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks! 68.89.237.56 14:30, 1 June 2008 (PDT)
As far as I know this does not yet work with the Homebrew channel as it can't find the roms correctly. You could try just putting the roms in fceu/roms instead of apps/fceu/roms, but I believe it will still fail at present. 68.62.18.39
I have been using this for a while and it works fine with the Homebrew channel. You do need to put the roms in /fceu/roms though. TeddyC
Vicious1988 Version
Now the "real" version supports front sd loading is there any point in advertising this one? or does it do something else not mentioned? JD 15:36, 3 June 2008 (PDT)
- Does it support Front SD? First I've heard of it. Give me a link.

Great! Now the wiimote can be used as a zapper. Only problem I have is that I can't shoot(?!). Besides this a great unofficial version! --DigDug 08:32, 10 August 2008 (CEST)

Hey, great emu, i'm glad to finally be running Contra 1 on my wii! Wanted to ask about a couple things. First, in games (especially games like contra) it seems like the A/B buttons dont respond at as as say, a virtual console version, sometimes i'm hitting fire (using wiimote/classic control) and it just wont shoot. Is this a bug or what?
Second, I use FCE Ultra on my PC at work (heh), and on Wii at home. I tried loading my .fcs save from my PC on my wii, but even after renaming the file to what the loader was looking for, it doesn't load up the game. I noticed that the file size is like 21k on the PC .fcs file and 23k on the wii counterpart. Is there any way to concert PC saves to Wii and vice versa?
