Let's discuss about it :-)

Libwii interface?

similar to snesgx or vbagx?

Maybe in the future..hard perhiod now. Does emulator work? What region has your wii? jenergy

works awesome for me! a ntsc wii, the controllers are surprisingly intuitive in the wiimote Xag 02:10, 16 June 2010 (UTC)

Nice to read it! For interface, you have to wait for a while.. jenergy

Doesn't seem to work properly on my PAL Wii. I get to the splash screen (in gray) and can only reset or exit the emulator.

When you press 'A' after splash screen, the program crashes? Do you see roms list? jenergy

I see all the roms and they load OK. Astrosmash and Lock 'n'Chase get stuck at the splash screen, Burger Time goes straight past the splash screen without me pressing anything and asks for number of players, but the games do not respond to any keys, except reset. I am using the the Wii Remote & Nunchuck. Have you tested on PAL? Thanks.

- Yes, I tested it on two PAL wii and both work. Sorry for the question: have you configured jzintvWii for using wiimote and nunchuk from the menu by pressing '+' on wiimote? Please let me know. Oh, another thing: I do not understand what you mean with splash screen "in gray"..could you please explain? jenergy

- Just an update: configure wiimote and nunchuk for player 1, some intellivision games need to start from controller 1, and ignore controller 2 in splash screen jenergy

- OK, looks like I just didn't know how to type numbers in with the wiimote (e.g. up+right=2). Games are working fine now, except that I have no colour. The screen is B&W like when I try to play an NTSC game on my PAL Wii. Any ideas? CookieMonster33 13:14, 23 July 2010 (UTC)

Oh, now I understand the 'gray' splash screen. Can you try to change, for the moment, the Hz of your wii in your settings? jenergy

My Wii is connected via a DVD player, which seems to cause the gray screen problem. Plugged directly into TV the picture is fine. Those old games I played as a kid are actually still fun. Anyway, here's some additional feedback.

- Sometimes Wii controller 1 is Intellivision controller 2 and vice versa, so you need to have both controllers on to play

- Would be good to have a controller mapping config file so that we can change buttons to suit games

- I'd love to see a graphical game selection screen with game covers

No expectations, of course, just feedback. Thanks again! CookieMonster33 14:43, 30 July 2010 (UTC)

Thank you! I'm currently busy in another personal project (not for wii), for the moment I can (try to) fix the first problem, but I never noticed it so I'll have to make some tries in order to understand what is the problem. But not before september :-) jenergy

I was wondering if youll be upgrading to the current version (that I know of) of jzIntv located at http://spatula-city.org/~im14u2c/intv/dl/jzintv-20100914-src.zip. Also, will you be adding keyboard support for the ECS games like Game Factory, The Jetsons: Way With Words, and others I cant think of right now? Da GPer 10:32, 23 October 2010 (CEST)

Hello, ECS keyboard feature is already enabled for the games which need it, and it's automatic. About upgrade..I don't know, there are new features? I'll go to see it.. jenergy

Hmmmmm.... Interesting.... My keyboard doesnt work on it then. Da GPer 06:30, 3 November 2010 (CET)

Did you connect it to the left USB port? jenergy

Its connected to, if you were looking directly at the Wii's back, the left slot. The keyboard works for all the other emulators that use a keyboard as well as the Internet Channel and any games that use a keyboard. Your emulator is the only one that doesnt work with it so far. Da GPer 08:32, 6 November 2010 (CET)

You know what? It seems you're right. The bad news is that I don't know the reason, since before releasing it I tested ALL ecs games and ALL of them worked. So maybe one of the last 'updates' on wii changed usb keyboard management? In these evenings I'll try to investigate and to solve, I hope to release a new working version soon..in that case, I'll try to integrate new changes you noticed me..thanks jenergy

Your welcome. Also, a new GUI would help make the emulator look good too, especially when the game names get really long, as a few games I have are. Da GPer 08:35, 9 November 2010 (CET)

Fixed. Today or tomorrow I'll release it. No graphical interface for the moment, apologizes. Thank you again. jenergy

Thanks for adding me to your thank list, but you misspelled my name. It should be spelled as Da_GPer. I do appreciate the thought though. :D Also, I tested the emulator and the keyboard works fine now, from what I have tried. If I find any errors, Ill be sure to tell you. Hey jenergy, not sure if you are still monitoring this thread. . .I'm having a challenge getting the jzintvwii emulator to go past the game/rom title pages after loading the emulator and then choosing to start a game. For example, I get to the rom list and select a game to start, such as Astrosmash, the title screen will display but will then freeze. My only option at this point is to power off and power back on my wii. Not sure if any other users have experienced this issue, but to this point I obviously haven't found a solution. Any suggestions to get this thing going would be most appreciated! Thanks!!

Controls

Why my Classic Controller Pro doesn't works? Any key doesn't works. Instead my controller works fine with the Wii games. Further, can you add the possibility to use the Wiimote in vertical? Because is impossibile to use it in horizontal with the right hand: ex. try to play Tron Deadly Discs, it is very difficult to launch the disc! --Rogwb 14:27, 31 January 2011 (CET)

About Classic Controller PRO: I really don't know..maybe the PRO version has to be managed in a different way than the normal one? I'll check for it..but before doing that..have you configured jzintvWii in order to use classic controller, by pressing '+' key? About Wiimote vertical: nice idea :-) jenergy —Preceding unsigned comment added by J energy (talkcontribs) 13:54, 27 January 2011 (CET

Yes, I tried by pressing "+". I don't know why, but my controller PRO doesn't works with every emulator! Thanks for your reply. --Rogwb 14:27, 31 January 2011 (CET)
