removing bizarre bug reports unrelated to HBC
Line 105: Line 105:
Nope, the bug is still there. Powering off from the Homebrew Channel with wiiConnect24 Standby connect enabled is still leaving the Wii outputting a black screen while it is in standby. I've noticed that when the Wii powers back on, it turns off the video for a split second, probably due to its startup sequence. --Thegamefreak0134 07:10, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

With Twilight Hack beta 1 or 2 Homebrew Channel Installation fails
  −
Maybe I did something wrong but whenever I try to install the homebrew channel, while installing, the installer says "Installing Ticket..............ES add ticket failed. Installation failed.
  −
I am using wii menu 3.4U with twilight hack beta2.
  −
I need to know what is wrong so I can get my homebrew channel working.
  −
I have boot.dol in the root directory of the SD card.
  −
I have all the files in the correct place (I think) but I need to know what a ticket is.
  −
Please help.

Newer Zelda TP discs won't work anymore?
  −
I bought a new Zelda The Twilight Princess game for the Wii to install the Twilight Hack. It seems that Nintendo fixed the disc so the homebrew channel or any other loader wont work, it just freezes.(The game starts up and works, it lists the 2 games you can load from, when i go backwards or talk to the man, it just freezes)  I have repeated the installation steps, formatted my sd card, made sure the file i downloaded was named boot.dol and was on the root of my sd card, but no good.  I make sure the wii is 3.4u, so i use the save "twilight-hack-v0.1-beta2.zip"(RZDE)  But nothing, maybe I'm making a mistake, or did Nintendo fix the newer Zelda TP discs?  crwys
  −
:Did you check on the inside of your disc to see what it said (RVL-....)?
  −
Also, I think 3.4u it European.  3.4E  is USA.  Try unzipping all of the RZD_  folders.  It will automatically load from the one you're supposed to use.  Twile
  −
:Wrong. 3.4U is USA not 3.4E. U=USA, E=European, J=Japan. The only codes out there. Pinball wizard 00:06, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

Homebrew SSBB freezing problems
  −
  −
I got homebrew just last week and a problem has occurred. First is the freezing problem. Every time I press on mushroomy kingdom my game freezes. Second, every time me and my friend are about to Brawl, the game freezes. Anyone know how to fix this problem? If not, please update the homebrew channel to fix this problem.
  −
  −
:The homebrew channel does not modify how the Wii reads your disc or anything related.  Either you messed up your Wii by using homebrew apps, or your disc is just scratched.  Don't believe me?  Uninstall the homebrew channel and you will receive the same problems.
  −
  −
This is actually the codes, you need to download a "Music mod fix" for mushroomy kingdom. else, tis your codes...

Homebrew fails to applications
  −
  −
On the odd occasion, my Homebrew fails to load my applications when I put on a new application. Now i don't know what causes this, I don't even no that this might be a bug, but it is extremely annoying because I have to take out my SD card and mess about deleting the application. It has only happened a few times and i forgot what applications they were. If you have this same problem, well join the club because i don't have a clue how to fix it.

NOTE: My Homebrew version is Beta 8. I Think =S
