Like IOS9, IOS10 had no build tag while it was active, however, since the functional version was v518, this was most likely branched from [[IOS9]], making this the first IOS to start incrementing its version from the IOS it branched off of. This also seems to be the only IOS branched from release-day IOS9 (i.e. v516), since [[IOS11]] started at v6 and therefore came from something like IOS9v5.

IOS10 seems to have a buggy NCD module due to the fact that NCD loads the network configuration from [[:/shared2/sys/net/02/config.dat]] but saves it to [[:/shared2/sys/net/config.dat]], as a result of the code incorrectly using a strict inequality. This is not fatal, both because NCD renames /shared2/sys/net/config.dat to /shared2/sys/net/02/config.dat on boot, and that System Menu 1.0J presumably forces an update when initially connecting to the internet, causing most users to never reload with the wrong config file to begin with.
