User talk:Bushing/Archive
Hi so are you the main guy on the twilight hack? (from the webs coolest mew)neomew
Hey, so you're "the bushing" - very neat shit you're doing here. I'm a sophmore Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering major right now, and I'm fascinated by the hacking you guys are doing. If you get time, shoot me an email at Jonathon.Reinhart@gmail.com - I'd love to learn more about all this! - Jonathon
Did you know about this? http://wiihack.de/wii-news/5574-interview-mit-waninkoko.html#post49488
Reinhart aren't you opposed to hacking?
- You probably have no shortage of offers, but if you want to eventually do a Japanese version of the HBC, I can translate for you. HisshouBuraiKen 06:33, 28 June 2008 (CEST)
Temp pages
The idea is to use a subpage of your userpage for wip pages, not your userpage itself. Try to think of that next time.--henke37 08:19, 5 March 2008 (PST)
- You want to know how? Just add on a slash after the main page name and then the name of the subpage. Use the search box to enter it if you want, but the url is fine as well.--henke37 23:13, 5 March 2008 (PST)
about WP:UP#OWN
Does it apply here? WP:UP#OWN, about users another's User page? LoganA 07:11, 6 May 2008 (PDT)
- In general it is considered polite to avoid substantially editing another's user page without their permission. Politeness doesn't change from wiki to wiki. Although not a policy, it is still polite to not edit others' user pages. --Hiker13526 10:24, 6 May 2008 (PDT)
- If you mean the part about it being part of the community's stuff, I think so. About my edits, I do not think that they should be reverted or anything just because it's an userpage. I am sure that bushing will tell us if he'd rather have us stay away from it. Or he could just you know, protect it and make it less of a request and more of a technical restriction. In any case, undoing perfectly fine work just because of a stupid rule would be silly. In conclusion, as long as you show people respect, I think it's fine to edit people's userpages unless they have stated otherwise. Besides, I think that bushing kinda wants a link to his blog on his userpage. One thing for sure, I respect what bushing wants on his userpage and not, even if it happens to be against what I feel is right/better/whatever.--henke37 10:27, 6 May 2008 (PDT)
- Meh, what are we arguing about, again? I don't mind other people making tasteful edits to my User page, if for no other reason than it means I don't have to go around tooting my own horn (something I've never been good at). That doesn't mean, however, that I would mind a link to my blog on my userpage -- I'll go and pick some reasonable wording now, but feel free to improve it. Bushing 13:20, 6 May 2008 (PDT)

HackMii - 404s
There are various 404s on links from HackMii (btw - I couldn't find any other contact link, and I'm not yet registered on the forum). This includes the Archives and Sitemap (see grey text at bottom of page). Cheers. --Lukegb 01:23, 3 August 2008 (CEST)
