The best i have ever see about the wii :D
This is wicked! The best news I ever heard since the Wii was released. What´s next? CUSTOM FIRMWARE???
Thank you!!!!
Thnx for yr hrd workz itz really goodz
You guys are brilliant, very nice work!
You guys rocks. I hope in the future there will be a lot more HB then now :P. crossing fingers for a HB witch is able to run backup and CG and wii games and a emulators.
I guess you could say it's 'just Tetris', but being able to load a homebrew Tetris on my Wii with cheesy/awesome Tetris music is epic. You guys rule (and so do you, Desktopman). Every one of you is a hero as far as I'm concerned. The amount of awesomeness that is no doubt to come is getting me excited.
Nice job guys, hopefully you will be able to obtain access to the internal SD card slot so I don't have to purchase a Gecko. Thanks for releasing this stuff instead of keeping it private.
Brilliant! I'm amazed the exploit was even found, I mean, who would have thought that setting a really long name for a horse would let you run homebrew? Anyway, I hope my SD Gecko will arrive this week, I just ordered one off eBay. Also, does the tetris use Wii-specific features (I know it wasn't made by you but meh). Muzer 05:43, 19 February 2008 (PST)
No, it doesnt :( Too bad though.
You guys rock! This is really impressive! I guess I'll order an SD Gecko soon... Now that I've bought the game for this hack I want to run homebrew :P --maikelsteneker
Hi men! You all are great! I'm impressed of your work...you do this for passion and public knowledge! Thanks for your work!! ^_^"
Thank you so freaking much! Finaly some Wii Homebrew! Do you have any time frame for elf loader loading data from Wiis Internal SD card reader?
I'm not part of the team, but I guess they'll release one as soon as they discover how to access the SD port, because I heard they hadn't figured that out yet. So basically, it will be done when it's done. 79.72.86.42 10:16, 19 February 2008 (PST)
Thank you for making my Wii happy xD
Hey. Cheers for your hard work guys!
My heroes! <3
Good stuff, you guys are awesome, =) It's people like you that make consumer electronics worth buying! - Nss
Hi! Nice work!!! I'm a programmer, i'd like to help you with watever you'd like. Even testing (i'm a pal user, so i can test it over my pal copy of Zelda) or whatever. anyway, thank you very much -- ^MiSaTo^ (misato.vk[at]gmail[dot]com)
Thanks! The alpha2 works great on my pal system. Great work! Keep the updates comming :)
Great job guys! I was just curious, I know using the AR hack only allowed you homebrew in the GC mode, will this eventually allow us to use features of the Wii in homebrew?
Yeah, because the Wii crashes in Wii mode, the Wii features are still available. Just that noone's released original apps yet, just ported GC ones. Notice how the disc drive lights up blue - that can't be invoked in GC mode. 79.72.86.42 01:01, 22 February 2008 (PST)
Thanks for all of your hard work! You have done a serious service to this community. I hope we can keep it going and make this console even better!
wow great work, now we just need a "homebrew channel" as launcher for the apps, but hey, even what u've done with that 3rd alpha is great! Now, that there's no need for an SD Gecko, it's gettin interesting for me ;) Thank ya for all ya hard work and continue that to make a great wii homebrew scene :D
Now that's the money I spent on the SD Gecko down the drain :p
You still need it to load games from the WiimP3 player and Genesis Plus.
Roll on, loader menu thing. Muzer 10:31, 14 March 2008 (PDT)
Woah! I'm so exited about this! Can't wait for more!! Checking that loader out is orgasmic! MadCatMk2
A homebrew channel now... holy fuck you guys rock. 66.222.160.231 00:55, 17 March 2008 (PDT)
Good to see that there are still people that throw things out in the open instead of keeping them private, keep up the good work. -Wouter
Wow, you guys are amazing! Finally a way to run Wiibrew!!! I'm glad we've got something more than this Wiimote on PC nonsense! You guys rule!
~DtD
Wiimote on PC nonsense? And just what did you do for the community, DtD? --Fashnek 15:36, 23 March 2008 (PDT)
CAN I HAS KITTEH NOW!?
Awesome job Twiizers! I am hoping and praying for a backup disk loader!
Wow...see what happens when smart people put their minds to something like this? Hooray for homebrew :-)
Congratulations guys! That Hack is awesome! Front SD support, Wiimote support, Homebrew channel... What's next? =D
No... When i put my "save" file on sd card wii recognizes it as ???...
You guys rock seriously! When I heard about this hack I was thinking it would be some super hard thing, but you guys made it so easy! Its just copy, load file, talk to guy! You guys rock so hard, I wish I could somehow donate! (Unfortunately I only have about $15)
Congratulations guys! You are realising me dreams. You realised the impossible!!
Now that people seem to be using your hack for pirating, does that effect your development? Damn pirates...
yea real cool.. but i've got a problem with the twilight hack.. does it run on PAL wiis too? my wii doesn't show the "wiibrew loader" when i insert the SD in my wii.. pls help! --> email: tobi_blitt@web.de
hey team twizzer great job
but can you help me? recently when i want to load an elf th wii crashes at "clearing .bss....." do you know what has happend to my wii? can you suggest something? email me please :janjosef777@yahoo.com
You guys rock so much! Can't wait for the Homebrew Channel!
Thank you really. A lot of people were saved by this. <udsan
"Thanks to you guys we can run engineering programs to help the understanding of the wii for dolphin :D" -DacoTaco
Hey, Can you guys help me out? I'd like to help make HB games/programs, but I don't know what language I should write them in so they can be used with the WiiHack. So, what is the programming language used in WiiHB? Please email me at thefinaldegree[at]gmail[dot]com
-Tristan
I hope you will create a custom firmware, i love your job continue like that!!!!!!! Twiizers forver<3
Nice job cutting the encryption keys out of the console, I really hope someone high up sees the skills of your team and gets you a nice job. Your skills far succeed anything I have seen so far, great job! (I've been trying for ages to pull the keys out of the wii but no avail!) Again, Nice job team and I hope for the best for all of you! If you have the time (Which I am quite sure you all have your hands full at the moment) please drop me a line at mattbbx@gmail.com Also, (As i'm sure you already know this) People are weird and can even go to the point of DEMANDING you hack something for them, although I think its silly and pretty funny, I know it can cause stress and anger after awhile. There are trolls in every fanbase, and you're going to get it sooner or later. Don't let it get to you though, what you do is great and looked up upon by so many people. Talent shows, and your team shows it quite well. Again, congrats on the breakthrough, and if it can be done on Zelda TP, i'm quite sure it can be done elsewhere. (I'm certain nintendo doesn't have any protection written into their games to prevent stack smashing, so overflow ahoy!) Happy hacking, VOID MAIN! (Just kidding) Matt.
This is amazing stuff! I'm really enjoying the Homebrew Channel and look forward to seeing all kinds of creative things in the future. Thank you! - GespenstM
This kind of technology is remarkable, I'm praying for your guys' success! ^_^
The HBC is so professional looking, I can't help but admire it for a minute before I click start.
Kudos to all your hard work and kickstarting the Wii Homebrew Scene! It took quite some effort, but know that Homebrew actually enhances the Wii in so many ways (like making it a suitable Media Center too). And I'm now finally able to play my old DOS-based point&click adventure games in the comfort of my own living room, it's like reliving my youth again with a vengeance! All made possible thanks to the awesome work and the sweet Homebrew Channel. :)
You guys rock! --ThomasWii 22:39, 31 July 2008 (CEST)
The Homebrew Channel waves and B G music were much better than "Cats". I'm going to watch it, again and again.
Hey. If you guys could figure out a way to put a Guitar Hero 3 Custom Song Maker on the HomeBrew Channel, that would be awesome. If you do, make it so we can put a song on an SD card and use that, and just put the bubbles where we want. Make it easy, but effective. Like BlastWorks! If you did that, that would be when I use the things you make!
u guys rock! eagerly awaiting a usb gecko program to turn it into a Waikiki adapter or a custom system menu that searches for a certain .elf on a sd card
There's something to be said about those who donate to the community. I just hope you can use it later to get laid. I'm thinking t-shirts:
I wrote the code that your boyfriend runs to play all his old NES games on the Wii. ...wanna fuck?
--Subpar 05:35, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
Without twilight hack, we would be gone. =] -Darnell
Hey Team Twiizers. Thanks!!!! You guys are awesome! Just updated to Beta 9! Brilliant! SDHC Support at last? I'll be rushing out to get me an 8GB card. Big Thanks from Oz!
Hey, I'm just dropping by to say I absolutely LOVE your work! The Homebrew Channel is the most amazing thing on the Wii, and is the only reason I even use it anymore! Go Team Twiizers, keep up the good work! --DemonParasite 01:55, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
Hey guys, great job. Here is a bug you might want to fix: in MPlayer, if a dvd does not have another track after the one you're going on now, the entire wii will freeze for 10 minutes. - superjudge3
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OT
You Guys Rock. How the hell did you figure out the twilight hack? If the Wii was heaven (which it is), you guys are gods.
How do you edit the wii .bin files? Been trying to use a text editor, image burning software (such as MagicISO) and i've googled but no luck. Also could you please make a tutorial on how we can add channels? I'd like to experiment with some ideas.
PS Thanks guys for all of the hard work; its very much appreciated.

Xyowen --- Greets guys. Gratz for your work. Just got one question, I don't got a modchip nor zelda, so I'm quite stuck until I got one of these. I was wondering, if this is possible to 'spoof' nintendo server IP on a local network, to make Wii get new channels from a local server, instead of downloading 'em from official servers on the buy-channel ? Have you tried this, or would you ? Or if you already tested, unsuccessfully, please warn me, else I'll try myself. Waybe one day I'll be able to make my own brews.... Regards, and gratz again. --- Xyowen
Can you guys try to find a hack through a different game (like brawl). Coz i dont hav Zelda on Wii yet :(
tissemikkel ----- Here is a little fan message from denmark!
WE LOVE YOUR HOMEBREW CHANNEL!!!! (Caps Fury!) Can't wait for a 4.0 version! Keep up the awesome work! (Also to all the Application coders! We will never forget you!)
Thanks for BootMii! It gives me good insurance on my Wii so as to prevent horrors akin to fixing an original Xbox with a busted hard drive (you have to do it yourself to know why it's hard, costly, and troublesome). Also, thanks for HBC! My SNES collection has found its way on there without paying twice for it through VC, and a lot of homebrew pumped through it looks promising. Lastly, keep up the good work! I've almost never used my Wii this much before!
P.S. It looks like a lot of these fans should browse WiiBrew some more as a lot of what they want is already there.
YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!

Hey guys, big fan. Loving Homebrew and all it has to offer.
I'm a Journalism student writing an article about this and I was hoping I could speak to someone from the team? There aren't many ways to contact you guys but if I'm lucky this will catch someone's eye.
My email is goldenbf@mail.uc.edu
email me at any time if you don't mind lending me a few minutes of your time.
Thanks!

Does twilight work on wii v. 3.2? Was there an older version of the twilight hack that worked with 3.2?
Is there a way to update the wii to 3.3 and not 3.4
Thx, --Firehazrd 01:43, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
- wrong place idiot. and all versions of twilight hack work with 3.2 (maybe not the latest hack). use a game to update to 3.3 and not 3.4. but really, just stay with 3.2 yossi 19:57, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
A Wiibrew Sonnet
- Once upon a time, in my dull shack
- I stumbled 'pon the GameFAQs Message Boards.
- It told me of the quirky Twilight Hack
- And how it simply entertained the hordes.
- I moved my save onto the SD Card
- Then talked to the kind man in front of Link.
- With lines of code, my Wii was instantly marred;
- With Homebrew Channel, my Wii would not stink.
- I browsed through pages of cool homebrew games
- While I started to download some good ones.
- My warranty had sadly gone up in flames
- But I cared not; of good games I had tons.
- So hats off to Team Twiizers, and the rest
- Who helped in making Wii Homebrew the best.

Let me simply say Thank You for sharing your work! This is phantastic! Wario512 17:30, 31 December 2008 (CET)
Twiizers, I just have to say that you guys have made my Wii very happy. I can play SNES and GBA on it! And DVD's too! Had I never taken the risk to add the HBC to my Wii (which in retrospect wasn't much of a risk, but I was still scared, "OMG MY WII WILL GET BRICKED"), I never would have seen your amazing work to help Wii owners everywhere. You are the Twiizers to my game of Operation. Sylfi 09:58, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
Because of you, I don't have to go out with my girlfriend anymore :) I just bought Coca-Cola and RUM, prepare CUBA LIBRES, call some friends to come over and play all night long NES, NES, NES :) The best stuff EVER. Now my friends girlfriends all hates me :) You guys ROCKS! Locoss Saludos de VZLA! 26 March 2009
You should really consider putting up a donating system (e.g. Paypal). I would gladly donate some money for Team Twiizers to motivate you on your work for the Wii homebrew community. I promise I'll donate atleast 20 EUR myself if you make it possible. Haprog 13:27, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

Hats off to Team Twiizers! Your ability to reverse-engineer and interpret the inner workings of the Wii and so easily bend it to your will knows no equal. I think all of us count ourselves as fortunate that you chose the Wii as your playground. Best of luck with all future endeavors. --Szalkow 01:14, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
The Twilight Hack works on v4.0. I have sucessfully done it and I don't understand why it says that it won't work and never will be able to.Ghostly 18:07, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

U guyz r my god, I WORSHIP U. (Quick Question: What is the proper way to install apps and wads?)
Can you post a whole page on how you exploited the Indiana Jones Game? Can you also post links to any software?----- --Brandon Gomez------------------------------------
dunno why we've spent 100's of $$ of commercial games when my kids seem to spend half their time playing homebrew (Smash the Castle is their current favourite). I appreciate not that you've given us a way to run homebrew but that you've presented how you did it and what Nintendo did wrong. It's a struggle to get good code inspections done here where I work - the truncha bug is an excellent example of poor code-inspection - think of wasted time and $$ that went into the encryption architecture, only to be SNAFU'd by some junior programmer using the wrong function call and no one catching it :)) --Vladhed 17:41, 8 February 2011 (CET)
Thanks to you, now i have a mediaplayer with WLAN and MP3 support :) And the video quality(EDTV) is better than my old video player(PAL)
YOU GUYS ROCK!!! --TheRealTukz 11:34, 6 January 2012 (CET)
Hi This Might be random all of a sudden thing but I had an idea for the HBC for the Wii U instead of an ocean on the original homebrew channel icon on the wii menu it should be a firey lake or maybe a lava flowing lake its just something I thought of don't think I'm weird or anyting for posting this I just had an idea. —Preceding unsigned comment added by LVG (talk • contribs) 01:26, 13 August 2012 (CEST)
