NOTICE

This homebrew application makes permanent changes to the Wii's NAND, thus, this application should be used with caution. It is recommended to have a NAND backup with either BootMii as boot2 or Priiloader with BootMii as IOS installed before proceeding with the usage of this application.

SYSCONFig allows the user to make non-temporary changes to the /shared2/sys/SYSCONF file. It is meant to help the user set their globe location for games such as Mario Kart Wii. Additionally, it can help users change settings which they normally couldn't change due to being on a vWii or Dolphin. Technical users can also use this tool to more quickly change system settings or recover from a brick.

Host

To host SYSCONFig, you only need a web server which can host HTML files.

You can download the tool to your computer by visiting the code page and pressing the "Download raw code" button.

Important Warning

This tool can potentially corrupt the SYSCONF file, causing unintentional behaviour and potentially resetting the entire file. Usage of this tool is only recommended for emulator users, which can easily backup system files.

Usage

Open the self-hosted HTML file or visit the tool on the authors GitHub Pages.

Select the /shared2/sys/SYSCONF file and press "Load".

You can now modify many settings in the SYSCONF file. The "Region presets" help you modify the region seen in games like Mario Kart Wii.

The "All Items" and "Raw Tools" tabs are unchecked.

Now you can press the "Download SYSCONF" button at the top to download the changed file.
