Quake III Arena port for the Nintendo Wii, based off ioQuake3. Also supports additional builds (Open Arena, CLASSIC and Mod Selector).

Quake 3 Arena

Standard Quake 3 Arena. Works both online and offline.

Installation

  • Place Pak 0-8 from your original copy inside
    QUAKE3/baseq3

Open Arena

Open Arena port for the Nintendo Wii.

Installation

  • Download the pak files from their website and copy them inside
    QUAKE3/baseoa

Quake 3 Classic

Multiplayer-only Quake 3 client with backwards compatible protocol to play with Dreamcast clients.

Installation

  • Follow Quake 3 Arena's installation instructions and also place dc-mappack.pk3 (download here) inside
    QUAKE3/baseq3
  • The required compatibility package is included with the application and is automatically extracted during first launch. Other builds won't detect it.

Mod Selector

Simple mod selector to boot Quake 3 mods on Wii.

Installation Follow Quake 3 Arena's installation and also place the required mods folder inside QUAKE3/baseq3

Install Quake III Arena normally.

Copy each compatible mod into its own folder inside:

The Mod Selector automatically detects compatible mod folders and displays them during boot.
