LIBDI is a library by fail0verflow or Team Twizzers that simplifies DVD hardware calls. It was built for DVDX, although the DVDX requirement was removed when Homebrew Channel 1.0.7 was released.
LIBDI is now part of libogc, so anybody with an updated development environment should have it.
