Talk:SD/SDHC card compatibility tests

I'm new to Wii and have enjoyed voiding warranties for over 30 years.

May I suggest that users add SD card part numbers where possible?

Brx017: 04-20-2009 - I modified the card sizes from "8 GB" to "GB 008", etc. to make sorting by size logical... That way its easy to see what 16GB cards work, etc (because they're all grouped together now).

Optimal Formatting

The thing at the bottom mentions formatting FAT16 with Sector Size of 4096. Is that optimal?

Locked SD Card

Some users may have problems with their sd cards, like all homebrew working for it, except homebrew that must make files on the sd. this is usually because the SD Card's "lock" is on, to turn it off just flip the switch thats usually on the side of the card. (i assume this is kakkoi's problem) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Baffle-boy (talkcontribs) 01:44, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

Kingston SDHC 8GB Class 4

Tested here and it works. Anyone else got it to work with that card before I update it? - GuruMeditation 13:14, 01/01/2010
