What region (PAL/NTSC/Japan/Korea) is your Wii and what video cables(composite/RGB/svideo/component) are you using? Does SNES9x GX in "original" video mode exhibit the same problem? Wuerfel 21 (talk) 14:32, 20 August 2018 (CEST)
I use Wii PAL with component for capture video, and same problem with SNES9x GX in "Original" video mode... Cid2mizard (talk) 17:07, 20 August 2018 (CEST)
That sounds like a problem with your capture device, not all of them support 240p video, but if you are using one of those, you probably can play the PC version instead ;) Wuerfel 21 (talk) 19:47, 20 August 2018 (CEST)

Problems running Outrun

Hi, I've not been able to get this working. The first problem I had was missing files (/outrun/config.xml, /outrun/res/tilepatch.bin, /outrun/res/tilemap.bin) which I found at https://github.com/djyt/cannonball/tree/v0.3/res . Now though the game seems to start, displaying "CANNONBALL - Wii Port!" before the screen goes blank and my TV tells me it's in an invalid video mode. Any advice much appreciated. Oh, probably the same ol' 240p video problem. Some new TVs don't like it, especially over component. I should probably add a way to force 480i/480p... Also, you don't need those files. config.xml should(tm) be auto-generated and tilemap/tilepatch are for widescreen (which isn't implemented due to 4:4:4 resolution being limited to 320 (or less) wide). I don't have the latter two on my card and it works fine. --Wuerfel 21 (talk) 10:56, 17 February 2019 (CET)
