So I was using the [[Homebrew Browser|HBB]] to update [[WiiDoom]], and the installation seemed to freeze. So after waiting a reasonable period of time, I tried exiting. HBB froze. So I shut down my Wii and restarted.

Hi, I try to start coding wii programs and did the 13 tutorials I found at the devKit page but I always have to replace the sd card to test the stuff because wiiload is not working with hbc 1.0.8 on my wii.

I'm using a WiFi connection that goes through my university's proxy. I managed to set up the proxy for the Wii (Opera works fine and News/Weather seem to work as well). However, nothing seems to work inside the HBC. I tried WiiMC, HBB, CodeDownloader, etc. No app seems to be able to use the WiFi connection. any idea why???

after not using homebrew for a while, i wnet back to the channel but couldn't find it. i tried reinstalling it but i can't get it back. i keep getting a 003 error where it says files are corrupted when i click on the sd card on the wii. i tried reformatting it and putting only the files needed to start the hackmii installer and i'm still getting the same error. i'm using wii menu 4.2. i also have riivolution channel installed but i don't know what it does or if it's relevant.

basically, genius me decided to system update the wii from 4.2 becuase youtube on the internet channel wasnt working. genius me again forgot to check if the latest version of homebrew channel would accomodate the latest system version. The update failed the first time (and everytime) and displays error 32017, along with deleting homebrew channel. It is now called system 4.3 at the top corner but behaves like 4.2 .
