:: I didn't get the point re the symlinks, but for the rest this was exactly my thinking. If you perform upgrade you can safely delete the "program files" meaning the stuff in sd:/apps/application, and you are sure that your data and settings are safely preserved in sd:/appdata/application. This is actually what is happening right now except the data and settings are kept in the root of sd:/ which causes a mess on the sd card. Simon, perhaps you could put data and settings in your apps in their next release? I'm planning to do that for Fuse in future. -- [[User:Spec|Spec]] 16:28, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
