OK, this doesn't affect me as I have an old Wii, but I did read somewhere that downgrading a Wii with a serial number LU64x or higher will brick it. If this is the case then should there be a large warning on the main page for this app? [[User:Crundy|Crundy]] 08:33, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

:LU64+ is a really bad name, boot2v4 Wii is better. It seems you can determine a "problem Wii" by the boot2 version, '''but i recoomend NOT to reply on this!''' There's no warning, because the app was written AGES before these Wiis. It should be widely known that downgrading is stupid, outdated,'''dangerous''' and not required for homebrew. It's only required for getting the trucha bug back, which does not work with this tool since it requires the bug in the first place. And the only other reason for downgrading is warez. --[[User:WiiPower|WiiPower]] 12:36, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
