+My Wii is at 3.1U and preloader works fine. But after updating to 4.0, via a \/\/ /\ |> file, preloader will brick my Wii (and it's a bad brick too! [black screen with "system file is corrupt..."]). So do have a safety net and backup your NAND before hand like I did (AND THANK GOD! for BootMii).
