Extract channel names
Is it not possible to extract the channel name (as displayed in wii menu) instead of jsut using a database?
−
Many custom channels have weird or random title IDs OSW 02:59, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
−
:Sure is, go look at WiiMU. I guess Red Squirrel was just too lazy to go look at my code. =P --SquidMan 18:36, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

::Sounds promising, can someone have a go at this please? I wish I had skills.--Wilsoff 23:55, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

:::Mmm, I tried to follow this way but unfortunatly with no satisfactory result (not all channels return their name correctly!) --Red Squirrel 04:56, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

Bug: Entry appearing twice after long title names
−
−
I don't know where else to post this. It seems that on especially long title names the next title is displayed twice.
−
First it appears right behind the last title and breaks into the next line. Then the item appears again after a line break the arrow indicating the selected title is displayed on both occurences of the title.
−
I guess it has to do with the title's length, but I'm not sure. Lockhool 10:30, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
−
: As said in other sites, I will check this bug ;) For now just use shorter names :) --Red Squirrel 05:91, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

Thanks
The inability to easily identify tittles has always been a pet peeve for me. Not having to go online and read the list for each ID is nice. Does this really need it's own page, though? Lots of pages for apps have an unofficial versions section for binaries and source diffs from people who've played with the source code. -Flark 14:24, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
−
: Should be moved to Anytitle Deleter page. --Tantric 18:45, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

GPL Violation?
You are violating the GPL with this Red Squirrel =/ You need to include source code. --SquidMan 18:49, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
−
: Sorry, source code added ;) --Red Squirrel 02:56, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
−
:: What code is he using that's GPL? Certainly not AnyTitle Deleter. I didn't release it under GPL. There is no violation here. --Tona 08:36, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

I can see that you copied my icon and you didn't ask or tell me about it... I don't mind, but if you wanted an icon, you could have just asked. --Bg4545 03:33, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
−
−
: I found the original icon with google images, so there were no credits to everyone where I downloaded it... i really couldn't know this icon's author, sorry :( But, at the end, I took only the background of "your" icon, not all xD However i will add your name in thanks for the icon and, if this is not enough for you, I can also change it in download packages ;) Please tell me what you wish I do :) --Red Squirrel 04:45, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

:: That's fine. I assumed you had found it here on wiibrew... Thanks. --Bg4545 04:00, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

Why did you neglect to include the homebrew channel in your database.txt? yossi 18:27, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
−
: A simple forgetfulness xD However you can add it by yourself now ;)

WAD Channel
Aren't WAD channels illegal to distribute? You should remove it...
−
Unless you made the banner and nandloader from scratch...(I haven't seen it myself; This is assumption) --Bg4545 02:24, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

--- There are some very rare legal WADs out there unfortunantly... --Remadon 9:37 PM Mountain Time

: I created the WAD channel using WADder application and using images created by me... but if it's illegal, I'm ready to delete it from the package with no problem ;) --Red Squirrel 11 February 2009
−
−
:: I'm pretty sure that WADer takes existing Nintendo code to make the WADs, so yeah it's illegal. --Bg4545 02:08, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
