From my understanding, it really wasn't necessary to delete all of the articles copied from WiiLi.org. The content of that site is under the GFDL, like this one. All that's required to use content under the GFDL is the inclusion of a notice recognizing its copyright, and a link to WiiLi as a/the reference should suffice.
