| NOTICE |
| This homebrew application makes permanent changes to the Wii's NAND, thus, this application should be used with caution. It is recommended to have a NAND backup with either BootMii as boot2 or Priiloader with BootMii as IOS installed before proceeding with the usage of this application. |
sntp is a time utility for the Wii that allows the Wii's clock to be synchronized to NTP.
The program contains a counter bias, and updating the Wii's time may change this bias, which could potentially lead to corruption of the system because it is a part of the system configuration. Use with caution.
Usage
Begin by going to timezonedb.com and register an account. Obtain an API key and then select a time zone. Refer to this string:
http://api.timezonedb.com/v2.1/get-time-zone?key=MY_API_KEY&format=json&by=zone&zone=America/Toronto&fields=gmtOffset autosave
And save to a file called tzdb.cfg on the root of an SD card. Run the application, and let it set up the time by the contents of the config file.
