This update may also add support for the New Wii Vitality Sensor, out later this year... Just speculation.. (Not like anyone would buy it, it looks dumb)

If so, all that would need to be done is install/update some IOS (maybe that new IOS58), the actual System Menu is irrelevant when playing a game, and thus the IOS the game uses is all that is needed. --SifJar 09:02, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
It does not. -- Bushing 11:28, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

Does Indiana Pwns still work? Hoppeduppeanut 09:52, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

Apparently yes. And Smash Stack too. --SifJar 10:05, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

Stupid Question: What does "NANDFS privilege escalation fixed" mean? RydiaFromFF2 10:26, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

No more Trucha Bug Restorer. -- Bushing 11:28, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
Interesting. I hope things get back rolling again for people who are now 4.3 and wanted to venture into the HomeBrew world. RydiaFromFF2 02:19, 23 June 2010 (UTC)

There's a note that Bannerbomb is fixed with this, and HBC is removed. So putting anything back on via the HackMii installer would be impossible if Bannerbomb is the only method of doing so, correct?

With that said, will there be a possible workaround for this? Just curious. Pory 14:39, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

Bannerbomb is only one exploit, Indiana Pwns and Smash Stack still work fine, and there will be other exploits in the future I guess. Anyway, HackMii Installer won't currently work with the new IOS (wait a day or two and there'll probably be an update), and current HBC and DVDx title IDs are deleted on boot, so there's no point installing anything. --SifJar 14:51, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
I noted Bannerbomb as it's the only exploit I have access to. Regardless, that does answer my questions, so thanks :) Pory 15:07, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

The information on this page conflicts with System_Menu. The System Menu page says the 4.3 update deletes BootMii as boot2 and IOS, but this one only says it deletes BootMii as IOS. Which one is correct? Silvarjin 19:05, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

Kinda depends. If you already have boot2v4, this update won't delete BootMii as boot2 (i.e. if you updated to 4.2 officially, or some 4.1 disc updates, such as NSMB). If you don't have boot2v4, this will delete BootMii/boot2. --SifJar 20:17, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
The info on System_Menu was crap, and has been fixed. -- Bushing 20:35, 23 June 2010 (UTC)

i think due to this new update the banner of all wiki pages need to be changed, it states you can still gain full controll with the latest version of the hackmii installer. Bitflusher 12:54, 23 June 2010 (UTC)

Oh great. Was wondering when a new sysmenu would come out. Wack0(t/c) 17:40, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
