- Load the Wii Menu
- Click Wii Options at the bottom left
- Click Wii Settings
- Locate the version number at the top left
- This should have the format
Ver. X.Xx - If there is no version number, then the console is on 1.0.

Do NOT update your console until you have a NAND backup. Your console may have interesting files that cannot be restored after updating, and some scene members may be interested in discussing these files. Load homebrew using Bluebomb with a 1.0 stage0 (not in the official release). |
