Changes to Remove October 23 Update

Thank you for updating the information regarding specific IOSes, and I also like the way you have reorganized the page. However, you mention Downgrader as an alternative to the first two steps. I would not have bothered with steps 1 and 2 if that were possible. cIOS Downgrader (Waninkoko's) always grabs the latest version of the required IOS from Nintendo's update servers (versions which are now patched). This is why I specifically mentioned using WUFE, since the versions present on games released before the update are not patched. If it were as simple as using cIOS Downgrader, this entire method would not even be necessary. I just thought I would bring this to your attention before I modify the page. However, I am only speaking from experience with a PAL Wii in Europe, so if you know for a fact that Downgrader definitely fixes all homebrew for other regions, please get back to me. Thanks again. RE: IOS Downgrader

IOS Downgrader and cIOS Downgrader are two different names for the same program. Officially it is just called IOS Downgrader, but sometimes it is referred to as cIOS Downgrader since it requires a custom IOS (cIOS) to run. It was released mainly for the purpose of downgrading 3.3 to 3.2 (but it can be used to reinstall any SysMenu version) as it is the most common System Menu to use for patches/hacks as it is the easiest to patch/hack while still being the most compatible with both homebrew and official software. Re: Backup Utility

I already deleted my shop account, so it doesn't really matter now. I didn't really play many of the games anyway. I can always get more WiiPoints though. --Bg4545 02:13, 27 November 2008 (UTC)

AnyRegion Changer

Can you possibly modify AnyRegion Changer to allow the use of a GameCube controller? I have an almost full brick and need to completely reinstall the System Menu. I have BootMii installed but I have no Wiimote capabilities. The GameCube controller works fine except in app that don't have GC Controller support like AnyRegion Changer. Same as above

Hi. I am having trhe same problem as Ccfman2004 with the need of a GameCube Controller. If not, can you at least patch the IOS downgrader so I can get 3.2U? In advance, THANK YOU AND HALLELUJIAH!!! d4M 17:50, 14 January 2010 (UTC)

I highly doubt tona will add anything to AnyRegion Changer. It is not of much use anymore. And no you can't "patch" IOS Downgrader. --bg4545 02:53, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
