Graphics on Wii
Gl2gx will let you use OpenGL on the Wii. Felix 04:35, 11 July 2008 (CEST)
Hi Shdwcoder, I'm interested in using the Wii (and the Wiimote) to demonstrate how accelerometers are used in inertial navigation systems in aircraft - I'm an avionics instructor. (The accelerometer outputs are integrated with time to give velocity and then velocity is integrated with time again to give distance)
I want to write a program that shows in real time the accelerometer output in the X, Y, and Z axes, and also to show the velocity of the Wiimote along, across, and up/down, and lastly to show the distance travelled from the datum point (let's say I map the A button to reset the X, Y, and Z positions to 0 and to start the timer)
What I'd like to know is if it's possible to look at how you got to where you are? I learned ANSI standard C about 10 years ago but that's it, and to be honest I don't remember much of that.
Anyway, I'd appreciate any feedback you could give, even if it's to tell me to work it out myself!
Thanks,
