It is not illegal if you dump them off a disc that you own using wufe. I think that disc dumping is still possible with the latest update.

Not the cIOS Downgrader. IOS Downgrader. He released it specifically for that purpose. It's listed on his webpage, but the download link requires registration, and is in spanish. I didn't have the time to rehost it anywhere, but thought it was worth mentioning. --Tona 04:56, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

Oh, my god. I linked to his webpage. Did you even look at it? It has both "Custom IOS Downgrader" and "IOS Downgrader" listed. Don't revert the page again until you've actually looked into this. I personally have. He put out the IOS Downgrader just a few days ago. --Tona 17:57, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
