Development content
I'm not sure if you saw what I put on my own talk page, so I'll put it here. WiiBrew does not allow discussion of content obtained through leaks, as they are a result of criminal action.
To be perfectly clear, there is nothing wrong with discussion of content obtained from development units that were legally purchased; this is how pages like the Wii Backup Disc made it onto WiiBrew. If the content you documented was indeed obtained this way, please make it clear when you create the page, as I have found no signs on the internet of it being legally obtained. Is “WAD Bootz” a joke? (Not Quite)
You seem to have some other serious homebrew apps in your userspace, so I wanted to inform you that a real “WAD Bootz” is against WiiBrew policies. Please let me know if it should be deleted. Hallowizer (talk) 03:11, 1 May 2022 (CEST)
- Also, please put {{humor}} at the top of these pages to avoid confusion in the future. Hallowizer (talk) 03:11, 1 May 2022 (CEST)
What you need to know is that a real "WAD Bootz" can fix bricks. And it can save time and works just like the SD Card menu. Also, recheck the notes at the start. It does not endorse piracy, as there are a bajillion WADs for free. You didn't take down Wii Mod Lite for its "Install WAD" and "Apploader", which WAD Bootz would mix into 1 function: a WAD booter. Different to a backup loader, it will play channels, WiiWare and Virtual Console, none of which (except 3 WiiWare games) actually got an ISO version or hit retail stores. So it's not piacy. Understand now? It's a WAD booter that removes the hassle of installing it. Heavily modified from the SD Card Menu bundled with versions 4.0 to 4.3 (and possibly the joke 4.4), which is legal, It's safe to say it's a bit mixed. And despite being named WAD Bootz, you can also install and delete WADs, not just boot them. It will also rotate the Homebrew Channel the right way.
So yeah, you got it, WAD Bootz, not a joke. —Preceding unsigned comment added by KoolLeo11 (talk • contribs)
