Signing your posts

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and WiiBrew pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Hi, I was using your wi-fi lib, I sucessfully connected my Wii(client) with my DS(server). But when I try to connect someone's Wii to my DS, it fails. Could you help me with that?--Joaorbezerra 18:47, 3 April 2010 (UTC)

Make sure that your using the external IP address. The 192.168.whatever.whatever is for local ip addresses, so they will only work within the network that they are connected to. --GEMISIS 21:38, 3 April 2010 (UTC)

But...I used the IP 201.80.182.128 in the Wii, witch is my external IP! And it didn't work... =( Any suggestion? --Joaorbezerra 03:12, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

You might want to make sure that your isp allows you to use your external IP address for what your doing. Sometimes they block it I believe. If not, then I'm not sure. Most of the stuff I've done has be locally with multiplayer, but I have used that with website IP addresses before, so I'm pretty sure it should be able to do it. GEMISIS 22:42, 11 April 2010 (UTC)
