All of these rules apply to the wiki: Channel FAQ. You're lucky you're not banned. This isn't a home for piracy. --ProdigySim 14:38, 7 July 2008 (CEST)
- LMFAO! What a joke! This whole wiki is based on illegality. If that's not the case, then why are there emulators on here? And you can't say that they are just a utility for roms and not the roms themselves, because injectors are just utilities and not the roms themselves. Noob! Fartboy 07:50, 9 July 2008 (CEST)
- Because injectors steal code from Nintendo (ie their emulators), which is not free code, whereas emualtors have no stolen code. Also, we are doing this to protect you, since it is more likely for Nintendo to clamp down on wad installers rather than homebrew runners. Muzer 18:24, 9 July 2008 (CEST)
- Fair enough, but why is the WAD Installer allowed on this site? Fartboy 14:08, 10 July 2008 (CEST)
- WADs don't necessarily contain copyrighted code. The Homebrew Channel installer quite simply installs a WAD of itself. You can install IOS wads with the WAD installer. It's useful. --ProdigySim 20:54, 10 July 2008 (CEST)
While the WAD Installer is most often used to install pirated apps, it has useful purposes too (i.e. it isn't a tool that necessarily implies something illegal). On the other hand, injecting games into WADs does.Marcan 20:26, 11 July 2008 (CEST)- Okay, this has gone too far. No more WAD installer. Marcan 21:38, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
