I have a Win95 CD, and I am not familiar with the .img format. How would I install Win95 then?

- Install it to a hard drive and install your programs. you want, then use a program to convert it to IMG format --Aujakev 16:22, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
Sorry to hickjack your page =P I have problems running windows95, I have the w95.img file (about 197MB) not problems booting it, it's just I got a black screen after the Windows 95 logo screen, I tried freeing some space in the SD card but the problem persist. Do you change some setting in the dosbox config file? Maybe I need use a more "lite" Windows95 version? or maybe my .img file is corrupted? I've tried 2 different versions availables on the net. try using the PC version of dos box or wait for an update, not all OS' are compatible yet. i was just lucky mine worked! PS: its the discussion page so it OK. --Aujakev 14:41, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

What builds of the software are you using to Boot Win 95
What builds of DOSbox for the Wii and Windows 95 are you using? I've been unable to get VGA drivers to work at all in Windows 3.1, 3.11 and Windows 95. Is there anything special you modified in the DOSBox.conf file? --Ften 15:53, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
Are you using a "fresh" windows Img, that way it will config to dosbox settings. also im using the one from wii brew. --Aujakev 16:37, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
Yes. Even with loading Windows fresh from install disks it still won't let me enter Windows 3.1 or 95 with a VGA drive. Could you email me (ftwelve@gmail.com) your DOSBox config file, so I can check it vs. mine. Did you create you .img yourself from scratch are you using one of those PSP builds? Also what version of the Wii are you on? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just trying to figure out what the difference between yours and mine is, as a few other people are having the same issues as me.--Ften 17:18, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
I'm not really sure about the VGA drivers, try starting the Imgs in the PC dosbox, then change settings to your liking then try the wii version. if that didn't work try to get help from the dos box team, i just found a way to put the two together, sorry. have you tried windows 98? --Aujakev 16:32, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
