Dop-IOS mod: new IOS versions
I've made a list of the IOS updates marcmax and you missed so you don't have to read the Wiimpersonator report I posted on the Dop-IOS talk page yourself.

- I made it a bit more readable. Note: I did not add this in the first place, it was someone else. --SifJar 18:06, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks, I added it, but forgot to sign. Helsionium 18:19, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
- Big thanks :-) I wasn't expecting to work on this today, so I have other commitments in the way right now. I'll see if I can get it done by the next 24 hours. Again, BIG thanks :-)--Arikado 19:29, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
- Marc has Dop-IOS programmed in such a way that all of the IOS and version data and description are all stored and accessed in a single array. Here is the array from Dop-IOS v8, also used in Dop-IOS MOD v5:

Feel free to edit that array yourself in compliance with the data you posted. If not, I'll do it myself as soon as I have time tomorrow (or later today if I'm lucky, I'm heading out the door right now and have a homework megaton awaiting me when I get back)--Arikado 19:51, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
- OK, I edited the array. I didn't edit OLDVERSION, because I think it refers to the oldest version, not the second-most recent version, right? Helsionium 07:25, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
- Right - Great work :-) Eventually, I plan on rewriting a chunk of Dop-IOS MOD so we can choose from more than the oldest and latest versions of IOSs. In the meantime though, I'll just compile with the array you made (thanks - saved me about 20 minutes) and release as v6. Again, thanks :-)--Arikado 15:50, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
- You're welcome! BTW, NUS Downloader has the ability to download the most recent version of any title. Do you think you (or Marc) could implement this in Dop-IOS? The old versions won't ever change, and if you incorporate code to detect what the newest versions are, you wouldn't have to update every time Nintendo does... Helsionium 16:15, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
- I'll take a look at the NUSD source and see if it's possible. Also, I just updated the page with the new array.--Arikado 16:22, 2 October 2009 (UTC)

- I can tell. Have you seen my latest hacking feats? Mostly, these videos:
- From piano to Banjo-Kazooie ROM: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_-oEXy0abg
- Tetris: Retrotails Edition: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ua71ngkqvM0 (You'll only be able to tell the differences if you know the original really well)
- Sorry for posting on your talk page, but experience has shown that E-mail is NOT the way to go. Damn HTML
