Sam & Max and FarCry
These 2 games require having 0x80000000 at 0x80003184 in memory, or else they will reboot the wii at a certain point. On Sam & Max it's when selecting an episode and the game reloads its IOS which reloads the main.dol. I'm not sure if it needs to be in memory before the apploader is executed, but that definatively works. The magic word(wii disc, from the disc id) surely needs to be in memory before the apploader or else some games will fail(Red Steel should be one these). --WiiPower 12:57, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
- I do load the (full 0x20 byte) Disc ID to 0x80000000 before the apploader. I also copy the 4byte disc ID to 0x80003180 (after the apploader). Let me know if this works any better (I added setting 3184 to 0x80000000). If it works I'll shrink it down to 4k again. marcan 16:12, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
I have tried launching SSBB (USA) on USA Wii so I could test out this app. When the progress bar get to about 1/8 of the way through, it shows that there is an error! I have heard that SSBB is a dual-layer DVD, would that be the problem?--Hunterm 02:16, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
- SSBB USA works fine for me. Check your disc. marcan 15:30, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
- I tried booting it again through TinyLoad, it showed an error. When I launched it through the Disc Channel, it worked fine. hmm...--HUN73R /\/\. 19:00, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
DJ Hero Online Works
I just did an online match on DJ Hero (US) when booting with TinyLoad. Worked just fine as if I used Disc Channel. SmaMan 07:39, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
Super Mario Galaxy freezes
When I enter the round green-topped house in Super Mario Galaxy, it freezes up on me. :( It's an original disc. --Lpq43 07:01, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
- The only thing this loader does is load the DOL from the disc into memory, then execute it. Once the game starts (at all), the loader is gone from memory and can't influence the rest of the game, so I can't think of anything that would cause it to crash part-way through the game. -- Bushing 01:31, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
can tinyload load gamecube games?
I am just asking since I have a US Wii, the specific game is "Pokémon XD: Gale of darkness" and the "Pokémon colosseum bonus disc", the games are japanese. —Preceding unsigned comment added by One12345 (talk • contribs)
- It sounds like you’re running a backup, from the other post you made. Piracy is not supported here. Hallowizer (talk) 17:50, 22 October 2021 (CEST)
