What does the "Disc auto start when right pressed" hack do? EUR vs USA

I see there are more hacks for EUR than USA on this page. I'm curious of the reason. Are more USA hacks posted anywhere else? In particular I'm interest in the No Copy Protection for v289. I believe this allows you to copy save game files that are usually protected - is that right?--Wilsoff 05:12, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

Region free channels (_1 & _2) unclear

Does the headline Region free channels (_1 & _2) imply that these two hacks need to be on at the same time or does it mean that these 2 hacks do the same thing?

wii shop

I have a version 4.1 wii and now that they have 4.2 i cant use the wii shop channel.Can any of these hacks enabel me to use the wii shop channel again--Wiier 12:43, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

this is not something you would fix with preloader. you need to install the latest wiishop. use WiiSCU and just install the shop channel. --Yossi 18:50, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

4.2 hacks for 4.1

Not sure how to do it myself, but 4.2 usa has a lot more hacks than 4.1 usa some that i would like. Not sure why as less people are on 4.2 or should not be on it at least. Can anyone make the hacks for 4.1? That would be awesome, i assume you cant just copy the 4.2 ones, not gonna bother trying. Which hacks are missing on 4.1? BTW, you can download a more complete hacks.ini which works for all 4.1 and 4.2 System Menus from here: http://www.mediafire.com/?5uhwjnemt4j (courtesy of da_letter_a). Check if the required hacks are in it first. --SifJar 15:51, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

System Menu background music hack

If someone can make a hack to turn off system menu background music, what about a hack that simply *changes* the background music to a music file of your choice, such as a file stored on SD? Can it be done? Should it be done? --Iwata-san 03:06, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
