Make sure you understand the gallery formatting before you add an icon.

If you are going to add an icon the line of text you write should go: Image:name or URL of image|user-name and should be in-between:

<gallery widths="128px" heights="48px">

and

</gallery>

Example:

Robertle Icon Set

My updated icon set for the Homebrew Channel. I updated almost any icon, added transparency and rounded the corners. There are also some more icons in this pack. I won't upload any of these icons to the main‎ page because icons might change in the next version and I want to keep them together. Feel free to add a link on the main page to this archive. Move these to the page for each app

Anyone thought about adding these Icons to the Homebrew_apps/*** page of every program?I think it would be more useful instead of always going to this page and search for your app, just an idea

I agree, I've added a few to the bottom frodo and wiihandy. But it is quite handy being able ot see them all in one place, and this page is definitely useful for the icon packs.--Wilsoff 02:21, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

Not Allowed

Why aren't icons for WAD Manager and SoftChip allowed. I understand the reason for not allowing links to download those programs, but surely there's no risk from hosting icons for applications?--Wilsoff 02:21, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

Transparent icons showing up with dark background in Internet Explorer 6

I have posted a number of icons, Frodo, StellaWii, Any Title Deleter, and they all look fine on the HBC on Wii, they look fine in Firefox, but in IE6 they all have dark backgrounds. I'm using GIMP 2.0 to edit them, and using the default save options. Can anyone help?--Wilsoff 21:37, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

Fixed it by unticking all the boxes and setting compression to minimum when saving the PNG.--Wilsoff 08:07, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Inappropriate Icon?

Umm... are there supposed to be boobs on the icon pack from Mr Nick666? Not complaining, just wondering if that's gone unnoticed somehow.

SOOO WTH

I just found out you cant have icons for WAD Manager. and that seems to be one of the few apps that DONT have any icon.png.. so i made a icon for it but then noticed i cant upload it.. -Wiiperson
