Request for update

The source code seems to be included in this app. Could anyone who has the tools recompile this so that it will work with the newer HBC versions? It won't run because it used the old "fat:/" convention instead of the new "sd:/" --Mr. Reaper 03:11, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

Done. Chris 19:44, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
THANK YOU!! i tried to do this but it didn't have a make file and i didnt have much time to work on it so i just gave up --Yossi 19:47, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
Is it working for you Yossi? I'm still getting a black screen (HBC 1.0.6).... --Mr. Reaper 22:38, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
Works alright for me on 1.0.6. Check the download is 332KB. If it's 292KB, you still have the old version and need to clear your cache. (BTW the significantly larger size is because I compressed the dol meaning it doesn't compress so well in the zip file.) If you definitely have the right version, there's something else I can try. Chris 23:32, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
Yep, I'm sure I've got the new version (triple-checked file size, file date, and even re-downloaded twice....). My Wii just doesn't seem to like it. --Mr. Reaper 19:08, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
OK, can you try this build? I've changed from relative to absolute file paths to see if that helps, so it's essential that this is stored in sd:/apps/aspirin. Please let me know if it runs. Chris 15:27, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
Yep, that works. --Mr. Reaper 17:19, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
Cheers, I've uploaded the new build to the wiki now. Chris 17:44, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
Much thanks for the fix! If you wanna look into fixing some of the other games with this same problem, they all seem to have the source code included (Hexxagon his some kind of issue with DOSbox itself though). I think Mad Bomber, Missile Command, and Vectroids would be good to have working again.... --Mr. Reaper 21:21, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

For some reason the spambots keep targetting this page. Maybe lock it down? Tueidj 06:19, 11 January 2011 (CET)
