Talk:AnyTitle Deleter/AnyTitle Deleter MOD
database wiki?
There are plenty of files missing in the database.txt, most notably WiiWare titles and then homebrew channels. Would anyone be against me creating AnyTitle Deleter MOD/database.txt and making it an open, database.txt wiki page? Of course, it'd eventually be riddled with tons of random homebrew channel titles, but is that really a bad thing? I mean, we're only talking about adding more lines to a text file -- it's not like it's going to take up room on the SD card. It would also be useful for additions that might otherwise not be added. For instance, I could add QAP (Rondo of Blood), WGD (Gradius ReBirth), and wR9 (Mega Man 9 DLC), in addition to a handful of widely-used backuploader channels. -- Masamunecyrus 22:20, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
- I went ahead and added that database wiki page and added a few titles. For those who would be adding titles, it would probably be convenient to know that you can find any WAD file's title at the address offset 0E90 if you use a hex editor. Masamunecyrus 22:51, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
- I think your are missing something, there is a BIG update of the database and we are know at 573 disc games known instead ot the 230 in your wiki page. Last update 02/26/09 and I plan to release a new update every 10-20 games. I'm not dealing with others infos (wiiware, VC games, etc... sorry) 17:13 28 feb 09 by OPIK
- I want to make a petition, that the list of titles when you make a backup, also print out the version of the IOS, just like title lister, and this way title lister will be obsolete and we no longer need it, this is how Title Lister prints the IOS part:
Title=1-1e (IOS30) vers: 4.15 (1039) Title=1-2 (System Menu) vers: 1.33 (289) FW: IOS30
so by this we could even set in the database that
- IOS###
289-3.2U 290-3.2E 288-3.2J etc...
got it..?? (March 1st by ether2802)
Sys Menu 3.4
Any chance of getting this working on system menu 3.4? -Flark 00:58, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
A new problem is approaching...
After updating the database.txt to more than 700 entries in the file when i'm using ATDM5 Gamecodes after RWW are ignored by the program and it displays [RXx-name of the game from the NAND] for games ffrom RWX to the last (about 90 games) :(
Maybe you should step back to the way the data was accessed before : read the database for each page can be a solution. I can help if you want. I(ve an update on the way for the end of june but I can postpone it, let me know -OPIK 10:50, 14 june 2009 (UTC) —Preceding undated comment added 08:56, 14 June 2009 (UTC).
Try the new v6 and tell me if now it works ;) --Red Squirrel 15:25, 16 August 2009 (UTC) —Preceding undated comment added 09:40, 16 August 2009 (UTC).
OK, everthing seems to be back to normal now, no more RXX-bullshit on already listed games. Update of database.txt planed for week 34. --OPIK 18:15, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
Unkown Files
I have many unknown files, is this normal? -Wiill 02:14, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
Yes, it's normal. Simply their names are not in database.txt ;) --Red Squirrel 15:28, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
Next BIG update of database.txt week 34 (very soon) --OPIK 18:16, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
I've fixed that problem simply by deleting them, (and have also freed up some blocks by doing it too)Wiill 05:03, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
Alternative AnyTitle Deleter database
I recently added an export feature to a database on my site (http://www.magmagateau.com/nindb/?atd), which can export (almost) all games for Wii, including WiiWare and Virtual Console releases. It's not intended to usurp OPIK's work, so you may want to use the database merger tool linked at the bottom of the article page to get the most complete list. Gnac-o-Matic 06:13, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
No problem Gnac, my "work" was a personnal need at the beginning :) I'm glad people used it before some made solutions for everyone. I'm happy if you can help us all. bye --OPIK 18:19, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
Gamecube Controller Support?
Any chance of adding Gamecube Controller support? I have an interesting issue on my Wii and I want to make sure all titles that should be there are. Ccfman2004 00:27, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
Yes, maybe already from next version ;) --Red Squirrel 15:30, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
Usage tip
Just sharing my experience to maybe help someone who is experiencing the same issue as me. So my problem was that I couldn't uninstall any title nor read their names. I got an error: Error! ISFS_Delete (ret = -102). By installing cIOS 249 the issue vanished. Probably could have used any IOS in the end with the Trucha Bug and NAND access. -- TheMelonFromWiiSportsResorts (talk) 22:30, 23 September 2021 (CEST)
