New Name

I know changing a project's name after release is generally frowned upon, but I'd still like to rename this project. I only really settled on Shiny Red Tank because that's what I had used as a place-holder on the title-screen. So, does anyone have any suggestions? Add them under here. -- MetaFight 05:58, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

New Sprites

Slow at making graphics, eh? I can make some pre-rendered sprites for you. E-mail me retrotails@yahoo.com example on Youtube here. -- RetroTails

I'm interested. I'll eventually need enemy sprites, but that's not the most needed graphics element just yet (see Tiles). -- MetaFight 00:29, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

I've emailed you some stuff to look at, MetaFight. -- Mr_Nick666 15:37, 16 March 2009 (GMT)

Thanks for the help! I'll take a look at that tonight. -- MetaFight 15:39, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

Seems like I'm a bit late. Fish Farts. Oh well. I'm decent at making a graphics (it's more of an opinion thing it seems to be for some people). I was thinking of making graphics out of pictures of clay models, but I'm not sure if that's the style you want. I'm also decent at music making. In fact, i even made a song that was my idea of a song for a level of this game, but the trial of the program expired, and i may not be able to export it to .mp3 or whatever. Oh well. But do consider me if you need anything. (I unfortunately don't have much experience in programming, let alone Wii programming, but iIm trying to learn it). --Animan 21:48, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

New Tiles

More important than sprites, at the moment, is 32x32 environment tiles. I'm looking for the following: [EDIT: Moved to another section in the hopes of keeping things organised.]

OK I guess to add a comment I just edit below it. Anyways, grass, dirt, rock, and underground tiles, metallic, mountains, and underground backgrounds, all made in 3d modeling software, here --retrotails 03:44, 17 March 2009 (UTC) EDIT and I forgot to say its all 32x32 and 640x480 PNGs. Also, BGs are repeatable.(horizontal but not vertical.)

Thanks for the contribution! I'll take a look tonight. -- MetaFight 15:39, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
Oh I read that scrolling BGs are possible, I wanted to do that with the metallic and underground. BTW you play all the best games ☺. Also, judging by the overall style, I'm assuming you want a Metal Slug feel to the game? Perhaps 45* angle shooting?--retrotails 18:43, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

Hi, i can produce any sprites and music for the game that you might need, email me at Neojack14@gmail.com . Like retrotails said, 45 degree shooting would be a good idea. Gameplay is great so far, i haven't found any glitches or bugs. Neojack14

Hi. Thanks for the interest. I've put this project aside for a bit, but I plan on resuming it shortly. It probably won't be for the wii anymore, though. I'd still be interested in seeing some sample artwork. Do you have any samples up anywhere? -- MetaFight 17:41, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
