2008年11月17日 任天堂通过 Wii 消息板 宣布 System Menu 3.4 版的发布. 发布声明中包含了以下更改:
- 在 Mii Channel 中支持 USB 键盘
- 增强来源控制
- Twilight Hack version 0.1beta1 将不能被拷贝.
另外两个改进 noted:
- 增强 SD 卡读写速度
- 改善光盘读取
更新看起来包含 IOS50 (菜单中使用) 和 IOS254 ( IOS9 的一个拷贝, 用来阻止 PatchMii).
