So has someone with a GC disc tested that the restore works? --Sektor 02:50, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
Very Dangerous
This seems extremely dangerous, and pointless as well, considering the GC didn't have much homebrew, and the ones that it did have should have a Wii port by now. I'm not even going to touch this with a 50 foot pole =/ --SquidMan 06:41, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
This is - assuming it's done correctly - not more dangerous than installing any modified IOS. --Svpe 12:36, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
Why can't the installer patch and install MIOS with a different title, and the loader look for that title? Also, couldn't MIOS be downloaded from Nintendo, instead of copied from a disc? (I appreciate that this is a first release, just wondering if this is possible) Kwijibo 16:34, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
I was going to do this, except when I read that it disables GC mode. Is there a way to make it play a game instead if the start.dol is not found? I would try to do this myself, but I have no experience with modifying cIOS or MIOS, so I can't. theDuck 19:55, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
