note from developer:

I decided to always reset the properties of the emulator. This means that bluemsx.ini is generated, but never used again.
 +
This is because every game has it's own settings, so it is not a good idea to use one ini file for all games.

Long live the classics! Been great keeping an eye on this project and playing a few old classics :) --djdynamite123 12:26, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

Adding games

Works perfect graphics and sound wise for everything I've tried, but it's way too user unfriendly in regards to adding new games. Any chances of, at least, supporting long filenames with spaces inbetween?--ICEknigh7 17:24, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

-- A guide will be created for adding new games, check our website for guides. -- Long file names with spaces are supported, just put double quotes around them, for an example see /MSX/Games/MSX1Demos/gamelist.xml TheLizard 14:12, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Control lag

While playing games that require quick button presses (Aleste, Quarth), I've noticed some significant lag in the controls, to the point that the ship in Quarth would start shooting after I had pressed the Fire button twice, making the game harder to control.
Is this some issue that may be fixed in the future, or must we just get used to it?--ICEknigh7 18:15, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

No 60Hz in PAL systems

I've just tried changing the speed option in the configuration file from 50 to 60, and the games seem to keep switching to 50Hz mode whenever they're run. I'd love to play the non-European games in 60Hz, as they were designed for that speed.
A speed selector in the menu, or even a command line to specify each game's speed would come in handy here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ICEknigh7 (talkcontribs) 22:41, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

-- I doubt this setting controls the 50/60 Hz setting, from the repository: Added 50/60hz support GUI uses Wii setting and emulated MSX uses VDP setting which makes the emulation as close to the real thing as possible.
