Bitfield definitions

I need some templates to define 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit registers. Since you're the mediawiki expert around the place, I wonder whether you'd be up for a little IRC chat to bounce around ideas so I can figure out what the cleanest way of doing it is. Thanks for fixing my lame templates ;) marcan 02:23, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

Homebrew releases

Is there not a better way of organising all of the wiibrew release titles? A category system would probably be best, as is done with things like Homebrew using GRRLIB --Pinecone 23:20, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

My mistake!

sorry about putting my placeholder outside my userspace. I totally spaced out on that. -- MetaFight 04:32, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Dutch language

Hello blooper4912!

The last couple of weeks I was busy doing some translation work from english to dutch on this wiki. I saw that you couldn't choose dutch language in the left menu. Could you please add that option? Thank you very much :D

GabberNL 16:55, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

The link shows up for me. I don't know why it doesn't work for you. --Blooper (Talk) 22:29, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
Wow, that's weird.. I found 1 page that did show the link but on the main page i can't see it.. GabberNL 16:05, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
Ah blooper, I see it. My standard language was already dutch, so that's why it didn't stand in that left menu.. Sorry. GabberNL 07:55, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
It's good to hear you figured it out. Feel free to ask anything else, as I'm here to help! --Blooper (Talk) 20:59, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

Bannerbomb Guide

Is there a specific reason you removed my guide? I just wanted to make an easy to follow newb guide... --Bg4545 22:47, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

I didn't remove it, I just merged it (with some tweaking) into the Bannerbomb page. It's even more newb friendly to have everything in one spot. :D — Blooper (Talk) 23:10, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
Oh, alright. I didn't see that... heh --Bg4545 00:23, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

Userbox

Heey blooper4912,

I just want to say that your Userbox is a very cool addition to wiibrew and you should improve the template to have more things you can insert. Like from wich country someone comes?

Thanks for everything you are doing on wiibrew,

GabberNL 18:37, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Well, the actual {{userbox}} template actually came from Wikipedia, so you should be thanking them instead. :P I did, however, make the system menu and bootmii userboxes and I plan to make some more (including a country userbox, which I already have an idea for). If you would like to make some too, take a look at the userboxes page on Wikipedia. — Blooper (Talk) 22:36, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
Blooper, I made 2 userboxes for language. I didn't make more because I don't know if it is good. Can you please look at it? If you find it good, I can make more of them. You can find them User:GabberNL/sandbox_1.

New release

Hi Blooper!

I just released my new game CombatWii 0.1. Perhaps you want to add it to the main page?

Yes, feel free to. --Tantric 17:56, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Nunchuck

Blooper, just ran through a few dozen pages correcting instances of {{Nunchuck}} with {{Nunchuk}} (and a few instances of plain text while I was at it). Rather than waste a nice day changing every page on the Wiki, just figured I'd point this out to you so one or the other of us will be more likely to remember, and thus to pick it up later on.

While I'm thinking about it, {{NunchuckControlStick}}, {{NunchuckZButton}} and {{NunchuckCButton}} will probably need to be renamed and their associated transclusions updated as well. --IanWatson 21:40, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

Don't worry about the templates being spelled wrong on pages. It's perfectly acceptable to transclude a template that redirects ({{Nunchuck}} in this case) to another template ({{Nunchuk}}). If anything, I would focus on correcting the text first rather than the transclusions. — Blooper (Talk) 22:10, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
Fair enough. I've been on enough Wikis where the policy, stated or otherwise, is "avoid redirects whenever possible." So I was just trying to "fix" that. Generally, once no more articles point to the redirect page, it's deleted. If it's not a problem here, then I won't bother. (:
It is probably a good idea to put the correctly-spelled templates at least on guides and templates such as Category:Controller Buttons. --IanWatson 23:17, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
If you want, I can help out at least with the plain-text stuff. It's easy enough to spot those by doing a search for the word Nunchuck, lol. --Molokai 05:24, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
Go for it! — Blooper (Talk) 22:07, 15 June 2009 (UTC)

Keypress

Hey, thanks for the keypress additions to the OpenTyrianWii page (though I think my pictures looked better, lol). --Molokai 05:18, 15 June 2009 (UTC)

knowledge released

Hey Blooper, just wanted to tell you that i released my engine and made a wiki page for it, Knowledge Can you add it to the news? Thanks! Romulo 13:22, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

Netflix

Hey, domstang68 here. Just wanted to say that for Nintendo news, Netflix was released for the Wii to the general public on April 12, 2010. Domstang68Domstang68 19:46, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

Help:Preferences

When I go to my preferences, I don't see the E-mail options. How do I make the E-mail options show? Do I have to provide my real name in order to enable e-mail? Keyboard mouse 04:42, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

Protection of Main Page

I don't think that the protection on Main Page is loner necessary because maybe we should trust them. If you want to, try changing the protection level to edit=autoconfirmed, move=sysop. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Keyboard mouse (talkcontribs) 04:05, 12 June 2010 (UTC)

The main page is staying protected. End of discussion. --Tantric 23:00, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
The Main Page hasn't been edited since 2009. Try unprotecting it because I don't see much vandalism around at these times. Keyboard mouse 05:12, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
