:::He means an update that will add some new, useful functionality to the System Menu, not just one whose sole purpose is to block homebrew, like this update. Kms2061 07:39, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, that's what I meant. Also, Bushing posted details about the update on HackMii. - <span style="font-variant:small-caps">Diego_pmc</span> <span style="font-family:Verdana;color:Gray">Talk</span> 16:22, 25 June 2010 (UTC)

Can't say I'm too enthused about the current work-around (twas a major headache) but it could definitely be worse than what it is...least it works and keeps the HBC/DVDx/etc. on after a restart and whatnot. -- Steelking322 11:57, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
Chips
I note that Nintendo are focusing all their efforts on software mods (used for homebrew and piracy) and have never touched modchips (used almost soley for piracy). Is that because they can't do anything to modchips? I would have thought that if there is software that can update the chip's firmware Nintendo should be able to create similar software to bad-flash them.
