Risen: A Fan-Made Text-Based Game is an action-adventure text-based game running on PMC's Text-Based Game Engine and based on the 2009 action role-playing game of the same name.

You are stranded on an island after your ship got caught in a storm. You soon find out that the island is inhabited but also that there are some mysterious things happening on the island. In order to survive you must get accepted by one of the two battling factions: the rebels or the Inquisition.
