This is in reference to [http://forum.wiibrew.org/read.php?20,42334], particularly the second page, where there is discussion about whether or not there should be support here for apps to restore trucha bug. The only legal app I know of capable of doing this on a "virgin" 4.0+ Wii is Trucha Bug Restorer (TBR). This app is completely legal, and cannot itself be used for piracy. The Trucha Bug has many uses, such as System Mod tools e.g. preloader and StartPatch, both of which are supported here. It is also necessary for many of the more advanced apps here, like FSToolbox and the like. Overall, I feel that this app should be supported here, as it in itself cannot enable priacy, its just one step which must be done before piracy. However, it does not necessarily lead to piracy. If a n00b comes to the forums and is told they need to restore trucha bug, but we cant tell them how to do it, they will google it, find a fail guide with random warez crap in it, and follow it. So by not allowing support for this app on WiiBrew, we may be leading people into the dangerous and illegal territory of warez. So could any SysOp who has bothered to read this think it over please? Thanks [[User:SifJar|SifJar]] 20:36, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

: *Ahem*, I'd just like to say:
 +
:#Your definition of ''legal'' carries no weight in any situation where a definition of ''legal'' would be useful to anybody.
 +
:#Nobody here is responsible for the stupid actions of wii owners.  If a "noob" fuxors their system because the app you want isn't available here it is by no means wiibrew's fault for not enabling said "noob."
 +
:#FSToolbox is '''''NOT''''' an advanced app.  It's a ticking timebomb.
 +
:#Why do people keep thinking this place is a democracy?  I'm not saying it's a dictatorship, but why should people who contribute absolutely nothing concrete to the "scene" have any say in how this site is run?  This "scene" owes nobody anything.  This site never asked to be a "scene."  This site doesn't owe anyone anything.  Just because you feel strongly about something doesn't mean people have to listen to you.
