Why aren't you using the Infobox for this article like is being used on all of the others? I can understand that it's somewhat different, but it's displayed inline with the other loaders and most of which have it (though they are a little outdated!) JD 14:15, 6 June 2008 (CEST)

Could someone upload 1.0.8 and 1.0.6 for testing purposes. Thanks! Randomdude 06:21, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
Hello, i've updated HBC with the HBC first and my applications wont appear in HBC, so i've tried Uninstalling and then installing it from HackMii Installer 0.2 but still no luck, anyone knows how could i fix this? (I have 4.0E on my wii) --Tusk 18:15, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

Update trouble
I've got a bit of trouble updating to beta9. i've used a downgrader (because i updated by mistake) that's worked fine. but when i go to update via the channel it gets to around 20% the cancels. and i can't find a .DOL/.ELF installer for beta9.

I only see version 1.01 - where can I get later versions? My Wii isn't on the internet so it can't upgrade by itself. Vladhed 14:26, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

SSBB EU firmware update
  −

I'm not sure, this probably needs to be verified, but the newest firmware update on the European release renders at least the homebrew channel useless. Like I said, this needs to be verified. Not that I used the Homebrew Channel at all, though, but still something worth investigating.

Things that stopped working:
  −
* Running homebrew
  −
* Exiting homebrew channel

:I think if it was a problem, more people would have reported it, as many people have bought SSBB (EU). Have you tried removing GC Memory cards? How exactly does it "not work"? Muzer 13:07, 28 June 2008 (CEST)

Ah crap, forgot to take out the memory card in B slot when playing ToS. My bad :P--GaryCXJk 23:21, 28 June 2008 (CEST)

sd card icon
  −

  −
i think it is extra to have an sd card icon if you also have an sdhc card icon. i don't think its likely that a program would support sdhc but not support sd. so no icon means not supported at all, sd icon means only sd but no sdhc, and sdhc icon means all supported yossi 12:41, 13 November 2008 (UTC)

Bug with an SDHC Transcend 16GB (HBC version 1.0.1)
When I start the wii and lunch the HBC, it doesn't find the apps on my SDHC card. Then, when I click on Reload and it finds all the apps on my card. Inside apps, my SDHC card works very well, also when I live apps, I come back on the HBC and it works well there too. --Gerome 16:20, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

:I think it's just a download. It's also a huge scam, as all of the software included is free. Avoid that site. —&nbsp;<tt><font style="color:#FF6C0A;">Blooper</font> <font style="color:black;"><small>(Talk)</small></font></tt> 17:55, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

http://gonintendo.com/viewstory.php?id=88083 states the following:
  −
"The hacking community is abuzz tonight with talk of what may be Nintendo's latest step to squash piracy.
  −

  −
Word is, if you're trying to go online and play a game such as Mario Kart or The Conduit, there's a new Wii background check to see if you have the Homebrew Channel installed. This check goes on without gamers even knowing. If you're found to have the Homebrew Channel on your Wii, say goodbye to playing anything online. Thanks to Sean for the heads up!"
