:::::Hmmm, not quite sure what is happening then. Some games don't require a restart at all, just simply exiting out of the menu (via B button) starts the game. But, typically when that occurs you aren't prompted for the cartridge type. When you are prompted, and it is a 5200 cartridge you must select between the 1 and 2 chip type. If it is an Atari 800 cartridge it is going to be one of the other types....
