I think brakken added the link to tehskeen simply as a form of advertising. Quite frankly, it annoys me. I don't ever remember seeing anything on the tehskeen thread that suggested it was the "official support thread". Even if it were, I think it is obvious that the reason was purely self-interest since tehskeen draws in ad revenue.
