I have a suggestion: if you happen to have the old shop channel or a way to get it, try temporarily using that to verify loss of gifts, etc. then upgrade afterwards. So, in this order: (1) install old shop channel (2) use AnyRegion Changer to change shop area (3) verify location change in old shop channel (and get upgrade notification) (4) upgrade to new shop channel. :Your logic is flawed, because the old channel doesn't even allow you to connect anymore (so there is no way to verify the location change) to begin with (and I know what I'm talking about, as I had the old channel before I updated via the manual IOS51+ShopChannel update. No matter what region there was, it simply didn't let you connect after Ninty's Shop update. and yes, I were at PAL the last time before I updated) --chrisis 22:01, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
