:I think this is beyond the scope of this Menu Loader. The part that blocks AR is in MIOS, the software that handles GameCube mode. The Menu Loader is for patching the System Menu, not other parts of the Wii's system software. [[User:Helsionium|Helsionium]] 20:38, 9 August 2008 (CEST) | |||

I was just wondering, does this change the Wii permanently? When you reboot after you have tried an alternate system menu, does it return to it's normal state?--Scarperguy 13:35, 9 August 2008 (CEST)
- No, it does not change the Wii permanently. Not so sure what happens when you install anything while using the patched menu, so I recommend you not to do that. Helsionium 16:50, 9 August 2008 (CEST)
Hi , 2 things i have to ask! First, can i use this program to re-enable booting of my gamecube action replay disc? Second, i have this program running successfully and can play my imported discs, but, when i try to load any system menu lower than IOS28 the program justs reboots back to HBC, why is this? Thanks in advance.Nikeymikey 19:02, 9 August 2008 BST
- The System Menu depends on IOS30, I guess that earlier IOSes don't have all features the System Menu needs. Helsionium 19:59, 9 August 2008 (CEST)
Thanks, Wasn't IOS30 when they disabled Gamcube AR, if so that will answer my 1st question too. In that case i'll have to give waninkokos downgrader a look over.Nikeymikey 19:09, 9 August 2008 BST
- Wait a second, you're confusing IOS and the System Menu. These are two separate, yet dependent pieces of software. IOS handles all the invisible and low-level tasks and could be considered the "Operating System" of the Wii. Many different versions of IOS can be stored on each Wii. Each game or channel (including the System Menu) loads and uses only one of these. The System Menu normally uses IOS30, older versions are most likely not supported, while newer versions most likely are.
- The trucha signing bug is fixed in versions 30, 31, 37 and all future versions. The blocking of GameCube AR was achieved in a different way, I don't know if this Menu Loader can be used to boot the AR. Helsionium 20:23, 9 August 2008 (CEST)
