To install the revived channel, you will need to patch the WAD. You do not need to download the WAD from NUSD, as the installer does that for you. Just go to (github.com/WiiLink24/WiiLink24-Patcher/releases) and download the .bat for windows, and the .sh for Unix. Just run it with your sd card in and it should work. When it is done, it closes automatically (without warning). | To install the revived channel, you will need to patch the WAD. This was a Japan-exclusive channel that ran from 2009 to 2012. It could be used to buy merchandise, or to view videos (among other things). The channel has been discontinued, but was brought back by WiiLink24, a group independent of RiiConnect24 (https://wiilink24.com/ for more information).
Revival
The channel was brought back by WiiLink24 in 2020, the revival is called "Wii Room" and is currently in a Public Beta. WiiLink24 is also working towards reviving other Japan-exclusive channels like the Demae Channel and the Digicam Print Channel.
To install the revived channel, you will need to patch the WAD. You do not need to download the WAD from NUSD, as the installer does that for you.
