ButtonSpell is a proof of concept opensource input receiver & applier for ButtonCast.
It shows in an easy to understand code sample how to use ButtonCast to get third-party closed software to accept Wii Input devices.
This example shows how to get Wii Dancemats / Gamecube Controllers hooked up to Stepmania, a PC clone of Dance Dance Revolution.
Binaries for Windows are included in the Debug subfolder. Visual Studio 2010 Project can be found in the ButtonSpell subfolder.
The code is unlicensed and freely available for use in any project.
